had a nice read today. the book was, in a way, randomly picked. titled 'a friend of the family' by nicola thorne, the story was thrilling. it is about a couple, Steve and Tina, who cant have a baby due to certain conditions. Louise, a long-time friend of Steve's who works for him, offered to become a surrogate mother for Steve, and well, Tina. She only did it because she was obsessively in love with Steve, and thinks the baby will make Steve realise how much he loves her and leave Tina to "become hers". Thats when all the complications and accusations come in. it is an excellent read, i'd say. anyway, went for lunch and had to carry 4 big plastic bottles to Central for recycling. see what a gooooooood girl i am? haha! my mom had the idea actually, as these bottles were becoming collector's items or something. ... luckily not. oh, but imagine the horror, apart from the satisfaction of recycling, when i was walking to Central, well, with my father, that is. hehe! sorry daddy for dragging you into my "plight"! jk. so, i need to get a life. sorry, rachel, for declining your offer to plan the christmas party. it was.....VERY tempting, of course, but thanks anyway. it could have helped me kill time. a lil' regretful, but im sticking to my words.*thumps chest*[count on me, buddy!] my sista suggested volunteering at the TP library and say, file books? i considered it, and giving it a thumbs-up, im going ahead with it. cant wait to kill more time during this holiday. really! these times are bad. cant talk no more. gonna say gdbye and gdnight!
do check out the book; its gonna be nice, i promise.
